Fees is the module used to define how students are charged for classes, courses, or packages. Instead of entering a price every time a student enroll, you create fee structures once and then assign them during enrollment.
Fees determines how much a student is charged and how the charge is billed.
- POS: Uses the selected fee to calculate the amount payable when enrolling a student or selling a package.
- Invoices: Uses the fee to generate the correct invoice amount and billing type (e.g., monthly, fixed monthly, or package).
1. Monthly Fee
(Charges based on the number of lessons in the month)
Example:
Student enrolls in Monday class, 60 minutes per lesson
Lesson rate: $300
If there are 5 Mondays in the month:
→ $300 × 5 = $1500
$300 = Price per lesson
60 minutes = Lesson duration
2. Fixed Monthly Fee
(Charges the same amount every month regardless of lesson count)
Example:
Monthly fee = $2000
Charged consistently each month, even if the number of lessons varies
3. Package
(Charges for a fixed number of minutes or lessons)
You can choose between fixed minutes or fixed lesson count.
a) Fixed Minutes
Example:
Package: 10 lessons, 60 minutes per lesson
Total: 10 × 60 = 600 minutes
Package price: $2400
Revenue per minute = $2400 ÷ 600 = $4/min
b) Fixed Lessons (variable lesson duration)
Example:
Package: 10 lessons, any duration
Package price: $2000
Revenue per lesson = $2000 ÷ 10 = $200/lesson
